Charlotte Mokoena is the Managing Executive of Global Services, a division within Telkom Business. The Global Services division provides products and services to multinational corporate customers in Sub-Saharan Africa and the rest of the world. Since Global Services is a new division, set up in response to market changes and customer requirements, Charlotte is responsible for aligning local and foreign resources and business processes for service delivery to Telkom customers outside South Africa. She is also tasked with managing any new in-bound customer requirements.
Previously, she was CEO of Telkom Management Services (TMS), a division created to focus on the business development and transformation needs of African organisation such as telecommunications operators, corporations and government agencies. TMS provided business advisory services and consulting across the full spectrum of telco operations; technical programme management services, human capital solutions and training and full management services of operations.
Formerly the Chief of Human Resource for the Telkom Group, Charlotte is passionate about learning, talent management and business growth.
In 2009, she was recognised by CEO Magazine as one of South Africa’s Most Influential Women in Business and Government. In 2007, she was named Human Resources Practitioner of the Year by the Institute for People Management.
She holds a BA (Honours) in Human Resources Development from the University of Johannesburg and a BA Social Sciences degree from North West University. She has completed Senior Executive Leadership programme at IMD in Lausanne, and the USA’s Michigan Ross Business School. She’s also a post-graduate Diploma from Leicester University in the UK.
Charlotte serves on the Board of Directors of Sasol Inzalo Public Limited and Sasol Inzalo Public Funding. She is a Director of Telkom Management Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Telkom SA Limited.
Charlotte is an avid reader and traveller. She is married with 4 children.
