In loving memory – Dolly Mokgatle was the Executive Director of Peotona Group Holdings (Pty) Ltd.

Dolly has served as Chief Executive Officer of Spoornet, and as Managing Director of Eskom’s Transmission Group where she was the first woman, the first black person and the first non-technical person to be appointed to that position. She also held the positions at Eskom of Executive Director of Corporate Affairs, Senior General Manager: Growth of Development and Acting Legal Manager.

She was also Litigation Officer of the Black Lawyers Association Legal Education Centre, Research Officer with the Centre for Applied Legal Studies (University of the Witwatersrand) and Professional Assistant at Cheadle, Thompson and Haysom Attorneys.

She has been involved with the restructuring of the Electricity Distribution Industry and chaired the board of the Holding Company. She has also been involved in Energy Regulation in South Africa and was Deputy Chairperson of the Board of the National Energy Regulator.
