Eileen Wilton is CEO and Founder of Crayon Digital, which provides Executive Coaching and Mentoring Services for senior and executive leaders; advisory services and lecturing on topics of leadership and Innovation in the 4th Industrial Revolution. She also currently serves as an Independent Non Executive Director on the Boards of:

  • Sasfin Bank and Holdings (Pty) Ltd. – where she Chairs the IT and Social and Ethics Committees (SEC);
  • Institute of Directors of South Africa (IoDSA); · Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC); and the
  • Llandudno Special Ratings Agency (NPC) – as Chairman.

She has more than 20 years’ experience across a range of industries – Financial Services, Mining and ICT. She has worked for significant corporates in South Africa, including some that have dual listings on the London Stock Exchange. Ms. Wilton has also held various positions at executive level – from CIO, COO, CEO and as Executive Director. She has experienced first-hand the need for, and travails of, leading a turnaround in recent times, and has extensive ICT and Digital expertise. She was awarded the MTN Sponsors Award for Leadership in ICT at its inaugural function in 2016. As she is passionate about developing women in leadership she has partnered with Business Engage to promote their 30% Club initiative to promote women in leadership in corporate South Africa and to contribute to build the female talent pipeline up to and including Board Level. She holds a HDE (distinctions in Mathematics and Art); a BCom degree (Economics and Industrial Psychology); and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Digital Studies, with distinction, from the Emeritus Institute of Management. (Emeritus Institute is a business school in collaboration with MIT and University of Columbia Business School).
