The upcoming Hall of Femme Awards by the International Women’s Forum of South Africa (IWFSA) promises to be a significant event celebrating the achievements of women leaders. Scheduled for 31st October 2024 in Johannesburg, the awards recognize women who have not only excelled in their careers but have also uplifted others along the way. IWFSA’s president, Nolitha Fakude, emphasized the importance of recognizing those who have broken barriers, inspired others, and contributed to gender equity.
The event, open to IWFSA members and select invitees, aligns with the organization’s strategic pillars: Ignite, Inspire, and Impact. It highlights the importance of women in decision-making roles and underscores the need for gender equality in building a more peaceful and inclusive world. The awards serve as both recognition and inspiration, acknowledging the relentless commitment of women leaders who create opportunities for the next generation.
This celebration showcases the strength, power, and positivity of women in leadership roles and their contribution to a more equitable society.

It is important for all institutions in society to recognise that investing in women’s development is a strategic imperative that creates long term success. We’re all incredibly proud of the role that IWFSA continues to play in showcasing the impact of women in our country and the world,” said Margaret Nienaber, Chief Operating Officer of Standard Bank Group.
