Dr. Roze Phillips is currently the Co-Founder/Director and Head of Strategy at The Nubi Group, which comprises NUBI AI, a frontier AI tech start-up, and NubiServe, an AI-enabled solutions company created by Africans for Africa. She also serves as the Founder/CEO of African Futurist at Abundance At Work, pioneering new standards in human potential in a digital and green era. Dr. Phillips is a Lecturer and Adjunct-Faculty at the Centre for Business Ethics, GIBS Business School.

Her Non-Executive roles include Directorships at Netcare Ltd and Spear REIT Ltd, where she also serves as Social and Ethics Chair, and a Directorship at GIBS Business School.

Dr. Phillips has been instrumental in forging strong partnerships between business and technology since the mid-1990s. Her work focuses on the future of work and social justice in Africa, digital and frontier tech innovation, business ethics, digital strategy and transformation, inclusive leadership, and culture change.

As an African Futurist and advisor, Dr. Phillips works through her company, Abundance At Work, addressing issues of dignity, empathy, and care in workplace environments. Her co-founded venture, The Nubi Group, aims to bridge gaps to a brighter future for Africa by leveraging AI-driven technologies to empower the continent’s youth.

Dr. Phillips combines over 30 years of experience as a medical doctor, public health scientist, business strategist, digital innovator, academic, and public speaker. She has worked with prominent companies across multiple continents, influencing organizational direction at executive and board levels.
