Sebiletso Mokone-Matabane is a member of the Presidential National Commission on Information Society and Development.
Sebiletso has extensive experience in the broadcasting, film and telecommunications sectors in the USA and South Africa. In 2007 she was named South Africa’s Most Influential Businesswoman in Business and Government in the ICT Category.
She has been a South African delegate to the International Telecommunications Union Plenipotentiary in the USA and has served in various media-related positions including the Texas Education Committee to review and develop new curricula for radio, TV and related fields.
Sebiletso has also served as a member of the Ministerial ICT Advisory Council and the Advisory Council: SA Fashion Designers Association as CEO of Sentech Ltd.
She holds a BA and an MS from the University of Syracuse (USA) and a DPhil from the University of Texas (USA).
