Gail has over 30 years of experience as an executive coach and is the founder of The Image Excellence Group – a 32-year-old coaching company in Johannesburg – one of South Africa’s foremost coaching businesses with a proven track record of mentoring and developing leaders in commerce, industry, sport, politics and the public sector. My Pocket Coach, an app. that she developed offers a full coaching service online and was launched in August 2020. An eLearning facility to compliment My Pocket Coach was launched in October 2022.
A Fellow of Trinity College London, Gail’s first book Voice Excellence was published in 1994, followed by her second book Authentic African Leadership in 2013 and her third book From Fear to Freedom was published in January 2021. A Fellow of Trinity College London, Gail’s proven consummate coaching skills has enabled her clients to fulfil their potential.
Gail is a Lebona Africa ‘Women of the Year’ nominee and also appears in the 2004 book ‘Inspirational Women’. Gail has also been nominated as a Finalist in South Africa’s Most influential Women in Business and Government for 2008, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2019 where she was awarded industry leader in her field. Gail has addressed the International Association of Business Communicator’s conference on The Primacy Effect in New York in June 2008, in 2009 in San Francisco on The Quantum Physics of Success, and in Toronto in 2013 on Nelson Mandela’s leadership legacy where she was awarded the prized “All Star” designation of the IABC.
As a member of the International Women’s Forum of South Africa, Gail and her team were invited two years ago, to participate in a mentoring project of over 1000 women in the financial services industry.
