Salukazi (Salu) Dakile-Hlongwane is CEO of Nozala Investments (Pty) Ltd, a leading investment company with interests ranging from hospitals and education to construction materials and telecoms.
Salu co-founded Nozala Investments in 1996.
Previous influential posts she has held include the following:
- Senior Investment Officer: Lesotho National Development Corporation
- Country Programme Officer and later Principal Corporation Officer: African Development Bank (Abidjan/Côte d’Ivoire)
- Senior Manager – Structured Finance Division: FirstCorp Merchant Bank
- Assistant General Manager: BOE Specialised Finance.
Salu is a Non-Executive Director of some of Nozala’s investee companies including Eqstra, Enviroserv Holdings Ltd, Woodlands Dairy (Pty) Ltd, Afripack (Pty) Ltd, Tsebo Outsourcing Group (Pty) Ltd, Synergy Freight International (Pty) Ltd and Natal Rubber Compounders (Pty) Ltd. She is also a Director of Multichoice South Africa Holdings (Pty) Ltd.
Salu holds a BA (Economics and Statistics) from the National University of Lesotho and an MA (Development Economics) from Williams College, Massachusetts USA.
