CEO of Systemic Logic Group
Passionate about creating jobs and changing lives, Audrey Mothupi is the Chief Executive Officer of the South African based SystemicLogic Group – a global financial innovation, data, and technology company with a proven track record for delivering practical solutions to clients across a disparate range of industries and geographies. Audrey brings over 20 years of business experience.
With her extensive knowledge of African and global markets, Mothupi passionately champions the SystemicLogic business model to deliver solutions that are tailored to the needs of clients, specific to their respective operating environments.
Having worked in the public broadcaster, wealth insurance, banking, and now fintech, data and innovation sector, her experience spans across various business domains including group strategy, talent design, marketing and communications strategy as well as data, technology and innovation, integrated with strong corporate relationship management.
Prior to SystemicLogic, Mothupi served as the CEO of Group Strategic Services at Liberty Holdings and Head of Inclusive Banking at Standard Bank. She serves as an independent Non-Executive Director on the boards of Pick ‘n Pay, Life Healthcare Group and Altona Plc, and as the G100 Global Chair – AI/Data and Cybersecurity. She is a Fellow of the Africa Leadership Initiative (ALI), a board member of the International Women’s Forum of South Africa (IWFSA), a member of the International Women’s Forum (IWF) and has
been named one of Africa’s 1,000 most powerful women.
Mothupi served as the Chair of the Board at Roedean School (SA) and the Chairperson of Orange Babies of South Africa. She also served as a board member of Nordic Female Business Angel Network and the Numeric Board of South Africa and as an independent Non-Executive Director on the board of Arden Capital.
Mothupi received her BA (Hons) in Political Science from Trent University and more recently added an education in artificial-intelligence machine learning through MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology).
Mothupi is a proud mother of two, 24-year-old Melita and 19-year-old Zoya. She has keen interests in reading, hiking, traveling and cooking.
